Medical Assistant for front & back office - Part-time

We have a part-time opening for a Medical Assistant for front & back office.

Medical Assistant needed for a Podiatry office in Encino to handle front and back office duties.

We are a growing practice and need the right person to join our tight team. Must speak/ read and write English/ Farsi fluently.

-Must have front office experience; Verifing insurances, knowledge of basic medical terminology, scheduling, following up on patient care, calling in prescriptions, taking detailed messages, and calling patients to confirm appointments.

-Must have at least one year back office; rooming paitients, taking vitals, detailed history, blood draw and labs, setting up trays for in office procedures, restocking rooms and sterilizing instruments.
