Painting Job Supervisor

Job Description

• It is preferable that candidates have a minimum of 1-5 years of consistent field supervision experience as well as good relationships throughout the southeast area and the construction industry. This position will be compensated with a salary.
• Field Supervisor's Scope: As a Field Supervisor, you are responsible for completing take-offs, supervising job sites and crews, delivering materials, and ensuring that company standards are maintained on the job site.

Role and Responsibilities

• Complete take-offs in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that project managers and estimators receive the take-off quickly.
• Must be able to interpret a scope of work and know basic construction terms on residential and commercial structures.
• Take accurate, detailed photos of areas of take-off and upload them to Dropbox quickly.
• Manage crews and job sites.
• Ensure draw requests and daily reports are completed.
• Ensure that crews are in uniform and maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Managing materials efficiently. Have materials on site on time, maintain and turn in receipts, and work with the project manager to ensure that the project stays on or under budget.
• Work with a sense of pride and professionalism in the office and on the job site with the client and the crews.
• Walk with the client and project manager at the conclusion of each job to complete touch-ups and a sign-off sheet.
• Must be detail oriented, excellent communicator and highly organized.
• Overtime and weekends, and possible travel, as necessary.
• Any other duty, task or responsibility as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or College.
• Prior field supervisor experience or painting or other relevant labor experience.
• Must possess computer skills including MS Office, MS Excel, etc...
• Must be detail oriented, excellent communicator, highly organized and able to follow detailed instructions.

Salary: $35,000 - $40,000.00 /year
