The White Whale Room is a cafe located directly on the Alameda Light Rail Station.It is a small space serving coffee, food, and booze all day long.Check out our website for pictures of the space and menu offerings.We are looking for the right person to join our team.Currently, there are 2-3 night shifts available, with the opportunity to extend hours if it's the right fit.*Must have weekend availability*This is a unique position that will allow a bartender to begin or continue their education in the food and coffee worlds.Our entire production takes place behind the same bar, so there are great opportunities for cross training.We enjoy teaching baristas how to bartend, and vice versa.On and off shift, we all work as a team.We want a bartender who is excited to learn how to do a little bit of everything.Once selected, one to two stage shifts will follow an interview to determine if the candidate is the right fit.
