SEEKING a prep cook / assistant manager with at least 3 years experience in quick service restaurants. Ella's Corner is a West Loop favorite for Chicago Police Academy trainees, Whitney Young & Skinner West students and a growing population of nearby residents. Open Monday through Friday from 9am to 4:30pm, Ella's Corner offers burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken pita sandwiches, and several other easy/fast-to-prep items at affordable prices.
Primary responsibilities will include prep of items and cleaning. Applicants will also need to demonstrate experience in ability to back up the full-time, on-site manager. A valid Food Service Sanitation Certificate is required. $12.25 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus 5 paid holidays. Eligible for quarterly performance bonus plan.
Must-have skills: dependable/reliable for schedule, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly and flexible to assist team in any way that is needed, good with customers. Good access to public transportation as parking options are limited in the area during the daytime.
Will conduct background, credit and reference checks. Interviews will take place from 4-6pm on Monday, Jan 15th.
