JOB SUMMARY:
Bell Tower is looking for a high energy, positive sales associate with an interest in interior design or home decor to join our sales to team at a home furnishing store.
- To sell indoor and outdoor furniture, home accessories and gifts.
- Merchandising & Design: All employees must have the ability to create displays and design floor spaces for effective selling.
- Will be required to accept merchandise daily, check it in the system, ticket it and display it creatively on the floor.
- Use of creative selling skills, teamwork, design and customer service, in order to deliver an engaged experience to every customer, every time.
- Customer service skills Must "exceed" the standard level of customer service.
- Demonstrate company standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamwork
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Positive/Can Do attitude with the ability to multi-task is a must
- Learn about all products in order to ensure full understanding when selling
- Develop, share and apply product expertise
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Basic Social Networking Knowledge.
- Customer service, retail experience or interior design of at least 1 year recommended.
- High school diploma/ GED or equivalent preferred
- Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Basic Social Networking Knowledge
- Good reading and written language skills ( English)
- Ability to multi-task is a must
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to move and/ or lift up to 40 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assist
- Must be available to work on weekends
