Traveling Crematory Repair-LABORER - Full-time

Reports to:         Lead Technician

Status:                 Non-Exempt Full Time

Hours:                  Monday - Friday (Some nights and weekends required).

Must be willing to travel for up to a week at a time.  Hours vary by job. 

Candidate must be flexible.

About FRSR CREMATORY REPAIR:

FRSR Crematory Repair was formed in February of 2008 by Eric Braden.  He is now the proud owner and lead technician in the company.  Eric has been in the crematory field for over 12 years and the knowledge and skills that he possesses are proven by our current customer testimonials. We are a full service operation. Not only do we provide service and repair, but also tools, replacement parts, cremation supplies, equipment and accessories. Our technicians are very experienced in all fields concerning crematory repair, trouble-shooting, refractory issues, welding, and installation.

Position Overview:

We are a fast growing company with a need for a highly skilled, independent, & self-motivated laborer.  Candidate must be highly dependable, have a good work ethic, excellent problem solving skills, and be willing to learn all aspects of the industry and position.   Candidate must be willing to travel Monday through Friday and be flexible to work through the weekends when needed.

This will be a 90day probationary training period.

Primary Job Functions:

• Performing preventative maintenance inspection
• Remove and install new refractory in cremation equipment
• Manufacturing/welding of misc. tool and parts
• Discuss future repair work and equipment concerns with customers

Must have Good Working Knowledge of:

• Customer relations
• Organization
• Manual Labor

Preferred Experience With:

-      Welding

-      Pipe fitting

• Masonry work

Working Conditions:

• Heavy lifting
• Daily/Weekly travel (sometimes up to 2 weeks at a time)
• Working in tight spaces
• Must be comfortable with the death industry
