About this job

Our award-winning artisan bread bakery located in downtown Indianapolis is growing and we need to add baking staff.

Production includes all aspects of scratch baking with a strong emphasis on breads and buns, but will also include Danish, cookies, etc.

The successful candidate will have an associates's degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, or a minimum of two years hands' on restaurant kitchen experience.

Duties include: Working under the direction of the head baker and with more experienced team members to mix, shape and bake product, inventory management, sanitation and other miscellaneous duties.

Must be able to repetitively lift 50 pounds and stand for the full duration of assigned shifts while actively operating as part of a team.
