About this job
Visiting Angels provides non-medical in home care to assist seniors with the activities of daily living. These services include assistance with hygiene and grooming, ambulation and mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, errands and appointments. Our purpose is to provide alternatives for seniors who wish to remain independent in a home setting.
We are currently seeking full-time and part-time caregivers, CNAs and Home Health Aides who have a genuine interest in working with seniors. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 1 to 3 years experience in a non-medical home care field
- Personal hygiene experience (e.g. showering, personal care)
- Verifiable references
- A positive attitude
- Strong work ethic
- A valid driver's license in good standing
- Own vehicle with valid insurance
- A clean criminal background check
- Own and carry your own cell phone
- Understand that drug testing is required
- Be available to work late nights and overnights or a 24 hour shift
