Job Summary and Mission

This position contributes to iCare Repair’s success by providing legendary smartphone and tablet repair, as well as outstanding customer service to all customers. This job entails providing prompt service and quality repairs, while acting in accordance with iCare Repair’s business practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Acts with integrity, honesty, and standards that promote the culture and values of iCare Repair
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during peak periods to keep the store operating smoothly and show a good impression to customers
  • Evaluates the needs of the customers and provides recommendations as appropriate
  • Assists with training new technicians by coaching them and giving encouragements to motivate them
  • Delivers outstanding customer service by being friendly and helpful. Always ready to answer their questions and provide solutions
  • Follows iCare Repair’s store policies and procedures
  • Keeps the workstation and the store clean to give an organized impression to customers, and so the other technicians will be able to locate resources as needed
  • Provides quality repair of smartphone and tablet components by adhering to iCare Repair’s training standards
  • Troubleshoots, tests, and diagnoses smartphones and tablets for hardware and software issues
  • Completes paperwork and tracking systems related to service rendered
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance
  • Upholds company policies as stated in the iCare Repair Employee Handbook

Experience

  •  No previous experience required

Basic Qualifications

  • Be punctual and reliable, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Possess interpersonal skills and the ability to handle customer problems pleasantly
  • Comply with the iCare Repair dress code that entails wearing the iCare Repair uniform and looking neat and professional at all times
  • Available to perform tasks as required

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understand that mobile device repair is a continuous learning process
  • Basic computer and Internet skills
  • Ability to communicate in oral and written forms, and request clarification when needed
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
