Flowers For Cemeteries, Inc. is a small wholesale/retailer of artificial cemetery flowers. We're located in Marietta near White Water. We work 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
We are looking to add a few people to our team, no experience necessary.
Position 1: Saddle Maker and Flower Fluffer
Flowers come in bushes and they have to be cut apart and re-arranged in styrofoam to make various arrangements. Fluffing flowers is a term we use to describe the process of arranging a bouquet of flowers to look nice and presentable.
Position 2: Flower Assembler
The flowers start out in cardboard boxes and someone has to unpack them and start the process of turning them into cemetery flowers. This might involve cutting the stems with bolt cutters or sanding down the stem on a belt sander. From there we add piece to the bottom of each flower and then they are set back in a box for the flower fluffer to do their part.
We're a small business and we have about 14 employees. The above job descriptions are generally what you will be doing, but there is always going to be other tasks to do.
