Bartender/Bar back

Responsible for mixing, serving, and garnishing all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to CSS standards. Will spend majority of time providing exceptional customer service to guests, maintaining all bar supplies and performing all duties assigned by management. Because bartenders are in direct contact with our guests, how they conduct themselves behind the bar is an essential factor in determining our guests’ experience.

Make sure the bar is clean and ready to go for the start of service. Serve wait staff if working the service bar. Acknowledge ALL guests with a pleasant attitude and serving them with speed and efficiency. Know the drink menu, recipes, garnishes, and proper glassware. Know the food menu. Handle guest tabs and ensure the proper drink order is added to the proper tab. Maintain pour control standards. Ensure all guests being served alcoholic beverages are of legal drinking age, and all ABC rules and regulations are being adhered to at all times. Restock bar as needed throughout shift, and ensure that opening and closing side work duties are performed to CSS standards
