Class A Drivers

We are currently hiring for local Class A Drivers in the Los Angeles and Riverside, CA areas and Phoenix, AZ.

• Before checking loads, make sure quantity shipped information is transferred legible from work order/customer copy to delivery receipt.Identify which orders require test reports and make sure delivery receipt is stamped with "Test Reports Received."

• Verify that test reports are attached securely to customer copy.Do not leave unless you have all test reports required for material on your truck.

• Verify all backordered items are clearly identified on Customer copy.

• Visually verify all orders are properly and safely loaded on the truck.Match paperwork to material.Any discrepancies should be communicated to your supervisor prior to departure or immediately when it happens during delivery.

• In case of inclement weather, tarp all material.

• Assist customer with unloading material and make sure delivery receipts are signed, name printed, dated and test report received and signed for.

• All refused shipments and material, including not found on truck, must be clearly noted with reason and initialed by driver.

• If making pick-ups, verify quantity, quality of material and test report before you sign for material and that it is properly loaded on your truck.

• When driving an IMS truck, Drivers are required to drive safely, courteously, and within all laws

Must be able to see, hear, speak in order to communicate and take direction from supervisor and/or other customers; manual dexterity required for reaching and lifting of small objects, and operating material handling equipment.Able to lift at least 75lbs. without help.
