Indoor Swim Instructor

We have the perfect opportunity for you to earn extra money in your spare time.  American Swim Academy invites candidates to apply for our Part-time Swim Instructor position at our indoor pool located in Fremont. This position is year-round, not seasonal. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enthusiastic, loves children and has a strong member service background. We are looking for applicants who can work M - F from noon - close, evenings and weekends. We have open shifts 7 days a week; mornings, afternoons, and evenings. We are looking for candidates who can work evenings and weekends as well.  Job Qualifications: must enjoy working with children and possess swimming skills. The candidate must be responsible and have a professional attitude. Must have prior experience in swim instruction and/or experience working with children. On-site training will be provided.  Job Functions: Instruct children, beginning at 4 months and up, teach basic water safety skills, and teach the skills necessary for a student to learn how to swim. Communicate with staff and parents on student's progression. We offer competitive pay and flexible part-time hours, and paid training is $10.50/hr.
