Private Dining Sales Manager:

The Private Dining Sales Manager generates revenue through booking qualified leads. He/She is responsible for prospecting clients through site visits, and phone/web inquiries, among other venues.  The Manager uses negotiating skills to attract new business while encouraging repeat business.  He/She assists the restaurant team with daily private dining functions.  This position is based out of our Legal Harborside location.   

Duties

  • Handle incoming phone inquiries and web inquires from clients
  • Help create guest's vision of events including themes and atmospheres
  • Assesses guest's needs and expectations and recommends production elements and budget expenditures
  • Works as a liaison between client and chef to help create menus suited to the guests' needs
  • Prepare proposal and contracts for clients
  • Follows up with clients during and after events

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a team environment
  • Wine knowledge
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, selling skills and understanding of sales process
  • Experience in guest relations through previous restaurant operations experience
  • Knowledge of product, contractual agreements, food and beverage composition and menu planning
