Shift Supervisor - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary

The Shift Leader thrives on challenge and continually looks for opportunities to learn and grow with the company. They are as comfortable taking responsibility as they are delegating it. Shift leaders understand that guest satisfaction always takes priority but efficient restaurant operations make it possible - ensuring that the “Wahlburgers Way” of guest service is consistently executed by all employees – creating and maintaining a culture of service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Effectively lead the restaurant while the entire management team is not present
• Responsible for monitoring training and development of new employees on the shift
• Assist with labor management costs
• Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with all team members
• Must be proficient in each area of the restaurant to assist when necessary (FOH, HOH)
• Maintain a positive work environment for employees and guests
• Prepare foods when necessary
• Ensure all food items are prepared according to the Silo’s standards of quality, consistency, and timeliness
• Acts with integrity and honesty while promoting and personifying the Wahlburgers culture, philosophy, mission and values
• Follows proper sanitation and safety procedures
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous Restaurant Operations experience
• Proficient in Posi-touch
• Completed training in all Wahlburgers positions
• Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
• Able to work in a fast paced high volume environment
• Proven leadership skills and excellent communication skills

It’s the casual comfort food from his childhood that he still loves best.  In hopes of sharing some of these favorite recipes, Paul got together with his family and partners to create a comfortable, friendly restaurant that would appeal to every generation.  Of course, one of his favorite foods has always been burgers and there are plenty of them at Wahlburgers along with a few creative spins on fun side dishes from his past.
