Seafood Delivery DriverA growing Bronx Seafood company is seeking highly motivated, team-oriented, truck drivers to make deliveries to restaurants, hotels, and food service businesses throughout the 5 boroughs, Long Island, Eastern NJ, Westchester County, and Fairfield County. Responsibilities:* Assist in the load-out of your assigned truck and verify the presence of all items for your route.* Safely and efficiently execute delivery routes typically consisting of 20-25 stops. * Retrieval of re-usable delivery containers.* Serve as the company's front line representative to its customers, providing courteous and attentive service during delivery. * Collect signatures on invoices as proof of delivery; pick up customer payments; maintain records of fuel and muni-meter purchases.* Report customer satisfaction problems to your dispatcher as they occur. * Conduct truck washdown at the conclusion of your route. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:* Begin/end your day at Hunts Point warehouse facility. * Work both morning and/or afternoon delivery shifts. * Available to work on Saturday's and Sunday's.* Working knowledge of the road system in the NY Metropolitan area.* Strong communication Skills, good work ethic, solid team player. * Able to bend and lift 30-50lbs. Education, Licenses, and Experience:* High School Diploma or GED * Class D Driver's License* Clean Driving Record - (your DMV MVR will be reviewed)* Restaurant Delivery Experience (preferred)Benefits:* 401k with company match. * Health Insurance.* 1 Week paid sick leave, 1 week additional paid vacation.* Opportunities for advancement at a fast-growing company.
