Thanks for talking with me about hiring for the new position on your team. I am attaching a summary of everything we discussed. We will use this document as a roadmap for recruiting.

Responsibilities:

* Balances air conditioning and ventilation systems using instruments such as velometer, anonometer and draft gauges; adjusts dampers to obtain proper flow across filters and coils.

* Operates and troubleshoots air conditioning, ventilation, water sprinkler, and sewer systems, isolating troubles and taking the necessary action to correct the troubles.

* Check, adjust and replace or calibrate temperature and pressure controls.

* Performs such preventive maintenance tasks on equipment such as oiling units, adjusting belts, checking water pumps for flow, checking duct work for fire hazards, checking chlorinators, checking operation of pneumatic control air compressors and accessories.

* Works from blueprint and schematic information such as piping layouts and duct layouts; understands and applies principles of air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration in terms of types of refrigerant and compressors; principles of relative humidity, vacuum, and pressure; and, components of air conditioning system.

* Works under the direction of and refers difficulties to supervisor for analysis and resolutions.

* Works under the direction of refers difficulties to supervisor for analysis and remedy and may direct one or more attendants and/or helpers.

* Keep records on day-to-day operation, on maintenance and repair of equipment

* Orders supplies as required.

* Able to work overtime as needed and on 1st shift rotating weekends.

* Will be using Total Preventative Maintenance for Honeywell Operating Systems

* Working in the Clean Room labs and mechanical areas.

* Will be working with deionized water treatments.

* Changing ULPA and HEPA filters

* Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

* Will receive training on 1st shift, 6 am to 2:30 pm for 1 month and then move to 2nd shift

Standard shift times for 2nd shift are Shift 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

You Must Have:

* Successful completion of 18 months Air Conditioning-Refrigeration school

* 24 months refrigeration and air conditioning experience.

* Complete with a passing grade all applicable EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification tests up to and including Type III (Universal: low and high pressure equipment).

We Value:

* Electrician Power Limited Technician licenses from the State of Minnesota.

* Able to lift up to 35 lbs. when making repairs or adjustments on machines and equipment.

* Able to be exposed to dust, dirt, fumes, noise and chemicals.

* Able to work in a clean room wearing protective suits, goggles, safety glasses with shields, safety shoes, hearing protection.

Working hours: 2pm-10:30 pm no lunch
