Life Skills Coach - Full-time / Part-time

Independent Community Resources, Inc. is hiring for multiple positions in the Inland Empire including direct service positions such as Afternoon, Evening and Overnight positions. Desirable candidate qualities include self-direction, enthusiasm, and a highly-developed service orientation. Also, potential candidates must have a genuine passion for advocating for the needs of the people served. We are looking for someone to works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency to provide support and coaching on specific skill sets for those we serve in a variety of settings; Uses personal and professional life experiences to establish credibility and infuse hope for a better future, to demonstrate unconditional acceptance, and assist with problem solving; Provides consultation and training for staff and others to increase awareness and improve the effectiveness of professional partnerships to meet the needs of each individual served, and Works directly in the community and the homes of the people served. Seeking energetic individuals to assist persons with disabilities with daily living tasks such as grocery shopping, doctors' appointments, ect. Must be flexible with schedule, self starter, and have organizational skills. Training provided. We service clients in throughout Southern California.
