About this job
United Technologies Research Center (UTRC) is the central research organization of United Technologies and works with each UTC business to ensure that their products and services are the most innovative and technologically advanced in the world. UTRC is an incubator for UTC products, researching innovations in energy, environment, safety and security and integrated solutions to assist UTC in developing new products for the next generation.
UTRC's Climate, Controls & Security (CCS) program office works on identifying, developing and maturating exciting technologies in the area of air-conditioning & refrigeration (equipment, controls, manufacturing etc.), intelligent buildings (operation, diagnostics), fire safety (detection, suppression), and intrusion access & security
The selected candidate will assist the CCS program with graphical user interface, software/tools etc. to help create a compelling story around the technologies we work on as well as help with some software/tools related testing.
Qualifications
Experience with presentation preparation, graphics design, multimedia capability desired.
US Citizen or US Person Status Required
Education
Rising junior or above working towards BS/BA/MA degree in Graphical design, Communications, Technical writing, Engineering or related area of study. Recent graduates considered.
