In this supplemental position, you would have the opportunity to "pick-up" shifts that fit with your schedule - which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. While only requiring a small availability, this position would be a great fit for someone looking for schedule flexibility or a limited part-time position and is ideal for students.

Responsibilities: As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Charter House, you will be part of a quality healthcare team, providing basic care to patients as well as assisting them in daily activities. CHjobs

As a Continuing Care Retirement Community, Charter House continues to meet the needs of its residents as their needs change over time. Care options include the Short Term Rehabilitation Center (Skilled Care), Home Health, Assisted Living Center, and the Supportive Care Center (24-hours assistance).

Qualifications: High School diploma or GED.

Additional Qualifications: Previous experience with the geriatric population is preferred.

License or Certification: Nursing Assistant Certification required and must be listed on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry.

Exemption Status: Non-exempt

Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $12.68 per hour.

Hours/Pay Period: Variable

Schedule Details: Supplemental staff must provide availability for 32 hours per month, with 16 of these hours being on a weekend.

* Scheduling is based on availability of staff and hours available.

* Hours are dependent on availability and flexibility for scheduling

* Supplemental staff have opportunities to work on all shifts (day, evening and nights)

Training for this position requires a minimum of 1 week availability on day shifts. Due to this, many students opt to apply closer to school breaks. For winter break training, apply in October. For summer break training, apply in March/April.
