Part-Time East Asian Medicine Practitioner - Acupuncturist

You are an outgoing and happy person always willing to share a smile and a hug with your patients. You love to take a moment to listen to stories about what is going on in the lives of others, and you find enjoyment from explaining East Asian medicine principles to anyone who asks.

You are enthusiastic about using technology to solve the challenges involved in managing a not-for-profit organization. You are not afraid to give a presentation to large groups of people, and you are excited about helping to create promotional materials that highlight our mission and the impact we are having on the communities we serve.

You understand that working for a non-profit charity requires more than acupuncture knowledge. You are passionate about helping to create a sustainable organization that is financially stable and able to meet the needs of underserved clients for many years to come.

You are not afraid to ask friends, family, and strangers to open their hearts and wallets to help support the work of Free Range Health.

The East Asian Medicine Provider position covers all areas of operations: On-Site, General Clinic, and Administrative. These hours are eligible Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

The ideal candidate:

• Resides in Snohomish County, WA

• Has access to a reliable vehicle that is large enough to carry our clinic equipment and supplies when necessary

• Is able to maintain a flexible schedule and is available to work additional hours (with plenty of notice) on an as-needed basis 

• Is already proficient in (or able to quickly learn) the cloud-based technology solutions we use (Salesforce, WordPress, Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Publisher, etc.)

• Is enthusiastic and excited to fundraise for the organization by helping to plan, organize, and implement strategies for increasing donations and bringing new supporters to the organization

• Has excellent written skills and is excited to assist in creating and implementing our social media strategy

• Has completed training in BOTH acupuncture and Chinese herbs

• Is a fully licensed East Asian Medicine Provider in the State of Washington

• Is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine with the NCCAOM

Some examples of on-site duties include:

• Setting up and breaking down the clinic space

• Greeting patients and assisting them as needed

• Interfacing with host location staff and volunteers

• Working with Free Range Health volunteers

• Using clinic technology

• Overseeing product sales

Some examples of general clinic duties include:

• Follow-up calls with patients

• Washing and folding clinic linens

• Restocking clinic boxes

• Creating supply re-order lists

• Filling herb orders and restocking herb lab

Some examples of administrative duties include:

• Placing supply orders

• Data entry

• Internet research

• Fundraising activities

• Social media creation

• General office work
