About this job

Position Purpose

This role is to support the FSQR and ops departments in administrative tasks. This includes but is not limited to: data entry, researching and gathering information, creating reports, event planning, travel planning, preparation for team meetings, note taking for meetings, creating and maintaining files, ordering and maintaining office suppliers and management of equipment calibration. This position has the responsibility to report any food safety or quality concerns that they have and has the responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions.

Principal Accountabilities

55.00% Data and Documentation Control: Data Entry (Facility and Supplier deviations and claims, hold product management, etc.) / Customer data entry / Micro data entry / Other

25.00% Document management (requesting supplier information/ gathering of presumptive paperwork, retrieving records for regulators and auditors, filing (RIM), etc.)

10.00% Management of FSQR equipment and supplies

5.00% Generation of reports, as required

5.00% Projects as required

Required

* Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and computer systems and ability to learn new systems

* Able to work in a hot/cold environment

* Able to complete computer work for extended periods of time

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* 1 year experience performing administrative tasks or equivalent

* Ability to read, write and speak English or the official business language of the facility

* Strong basic math skills.

* Strong level of competence with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and othe additional types of software.

* Must be proficient with typing (40 words per minute).

* Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred

* 1 year experience in FSQR

* Experience uploading data into web-based tracking systems such as SalesForce.com and Intelex

* Working knowledge of our Food Safety Management System/ISO FSSC 22000 requirements

* Bilingual in English and Spanish
