About this job
We are currently hiring Sanitation or Janitorial Workers with experience working in a Food Production Facility. The qualified candidates should have experience and/or be willing to do the duties described below.
- Sweeps and Mops the floors. Scrub floors with the floor scrubbers.
- Washes, rinses, and sanitizes the conveyor belts, storage tanks, fillers, seamers, packaging equipment, forklifts, coolers, and freezers
- Washes and wipes down all electrical cords and hoses
- Maintains restrooms clean and with supplies
- Must have experience working in a food processing facility or previous cleaning/janitorial experience
- Cleans offices and windows
- Performs minor repairs to hoses, air guns, nozzles, and other sanitation equipment
- Monitors water pressure/temperature system to ensure correct temperature
- Maintains the parking lots and outside grounds free of trash and debris.
- Empties all inside and outside trash and replaces trashcan liners
- Operates the pressure washer to clean equipment
- Operates foamers to scrub and wash conveyor belts
Requirements:
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not a requirement
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Must be able to lift 10 to 25 lbs on a regular basis
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a clean background (Misdemeanors are acceptable but NO FELONIES)
- Must be available to work Monday thru Friday from (2nd shift) 9 pm to 5:30 am or until all work in completed
