About this job
Responsible for cleaning the hospital and ensuring the cleanliness of specific areas of the hospital to include dusting rooms and public areas, cleaning restrooms, cleaning patient rooms, stocking soap and paper dispensers and disposing of trash.
High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required. Must be able to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions. Experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and must be able to do occasional lifting of items weighing 50 lbs or more.
