Warehouse Worker I
Job Description:
* Receive and unload inbound shipments of warehouse products.
* Sort, stage and place products in the appropriate storage areas.
* Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas.
* Prepare completed pallets of product for shipping, to include stacking, packaging, shrink wrap and labeling, and move product to assigned location.
* Accurately load trailers for outbound shipments to meet customer demands.
* Verify products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.
* Perform light assembly of warehouse products per customer specifications.
* Perform all work duties in a safe manner and support and participate in all daily safety activities.
* Material Handling Equipment Certified or ability to obtain equipment certification.
* Ability to lift 70 pounds.
Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* 6 months of experience working in a warehouse environment.
Additional Qualifications:
* 6 months of experience working within a Honeywell environment is strongly preferred.
* General mathematic skills.
* Problem solving skills. (diagnosis and resolution)
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Ability to use RF equipment.
* Ability to learn and use basic computer skills.
* Experience in inventory control and put away replenishments.
* Ability to work overtime.
* Ability to work in varying temperatures.
* Good attendance.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to be certified on all production equipment.
* Basic understanding of SAP.
