This position provides respiratory care procedures per physician order or protocol as described in the scope of practice. Responsibilities include critical care, general care, SNF care, and rehabilitation care assignments, and all related patient care plans. Individuals will work with physicians and other members of the patient care team in care planning, education, and quality improvement. Assumes preceptor duties as assigned, may include role as designated charge therapist as assigned by manager, develops policies and procedures, performs monitors and data collection for quality assurance, and assists in goal setting and evaluations for department, team members and self.

Certifications:

* KBRC certification required

* NBRC certification required

* AHA BLS required

Education:

* Associate degree in respiratory therapy required

Experience:

* Minimum of two years of critical care respiratory therapy experience required
