I. Key Responsibilities
1. Listtwo to five specific tasks or duties the position performs on a regular basis.
a. Performtests according to written procedures.
b. Performroutine and preventive maintenance on lab equipment.
c. Performvenipuncture and capillary blood collection.
d. Perform interlaboratory andproficiency testing surveys.
e. Works with patients of allages from newborn to geriatric.
2. Other duties as assigned.
3. Assists director in other related duties asrequired and assigned.
I. Job Requirements/Qualifications
1. Graduateof an approved school of Medical Technology with a B.S. degree in MedicalTechnology from an accredited college. Registered ASCP or equivalent. Current North Dakota License as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Students in the process of completinginternship will be considered as an applicant, as long as they become certifiedwithin 6 months of graduation.
2. Capableof meeting the physical and emotional demands of the position.
