Job Summary/Essential Duties:

* Provide a variety of Massages to clients.(75%)

* Stock the Massage Rooms.(5%)

* Change the sheets in the Massage Rooms.(5%)

* Market Massage services and Book Appointments.(5%)

* Offer chair Massages and participate in Marketing events.(5%)

* Participates in all safety, security and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department.(5%)

* Demonstrates work practices consistent with CHI Health and department-specific safety, security and infection control policies.

* Must have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.

Hours: pending on customer needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in Massage Field preferred.

Education/Licensure

High School Education Preferred

Licensed Massage Therapist in State of Nebraska required.

Certification through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, preferred.

Must complete continuing education of 18 hours in 24 month period

BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, American Safety and Health Institute: CPR, PRO, must say "Professional Level-with AED", and American Heart Association: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
