Title: Part Time Student - Supply Management - Fargo, ND - 23729

Your Responsibilities

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff, and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule. In this position you will:

* Support and assist Supply Management Systems Supervisor with the implementation and maintenance of John Deere tools, strategies, and processes

* Create part numbers and maintain related data

* Maintain material parameters in identified systems

* Develop and implement process improvements that support the global Supply Management processes including the development and implementation of software tools.

* Assist Supply Management with creating new and maintaining existing procedures and work instructions.

* Assist in assembling and distributing Supply Management reports for department metrics

* Assist and support Supply Management Specialists with special projects as identified.

What it Takes

We need excellent communicators, who thrive on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally, you will be pursuing a degree in Supply Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or IT. Others may apply. In addition, we require:

* Must be registered as a full-time student at a Fargo, ND area university

* Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis

* Graduation date of May 2018 or later

* Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

* 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year

* 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
