Ghirardelli has opportunities for Retail Hourly Associates - Chocolateers at the Ghirardelli Chocolate Shop & Soda Fountain at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta in Woodstock, Georgia in an area full of excitement and high energy! Merchandise, stock, and provide excellent guest service while selling our Premium Chocolate line. Previous retail experience is desirable for this position. Must be High Energy, Reliable, have a Strong Work Ethic, be able to work all shifts including Nights and Weekends.

​Chocolateers will help the general manager and his or her management team ensure that the store operates in a way that helps deliver excellent customer service, maximizes financial return, and fosters an environment that makes Ghirardelli a great place to work. The Chocolateer will be responsible for upholding the high standards of the company and its reputation.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Cashiering
• Stocking and Pre-packing
• Guest Service
• Maintenance and Sanitation

Specific Knowledge & Skills

• Clear, professional, and effective oral and written communication
• Teamwork and cooperative spirit
• Ability to manage time effectively and be self-directed under minimal supervision
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, such as MICROS preferred, not required
• Knowledge of restaurant or retail sector

Education & Work Experience

• One or more years of related experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment
• High school diploma preferred, not required

Working Conditions

• Rare to Occasional ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
