Providence is calling a Long Term Care Nurse Manager (Long Term Care, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all -- especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

* Create a neighborhood(s) and work environment that promotes and fosters a resident/patient directed service model with a team approach.

* Select, hire, and evaluate staff and other team members with assistance from the neighborhood team.

* Oversee staffing, budgets, licensure requirements and quality management programs.

* Collaborate with other neighborhood coordinators and program managers to share resources, knowledge, expertise, opportunities, and achievements.

* Keep supervisor fully informed of status, progress, and achievements. Submits monthly goals and objectives, staff minutes, corrective actions & productivity reports, etc. as requested.

* Work flexible hours and shifts to meet 24 hour accountability and responsibilities. Assumes on-call responsibilities in rotation with other Managers.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of Nursing

* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State

* Current CPR certification

* Valid Food Handlers permit within 3 months of employment

* 2 years experience in long term care setting, including end of life care

* 5 years in leadership and management
