L-3 RASM-E is a diverse program located in Ft. Bragg, NC, Hunter AAF, Savannah, GA and Ft. Drum, NY. This position will be located at our Ft. Bragg, NC location and is part of the Maintenance Team. You will report directly to the Chief Pilot at the direction of the Site Manager.

We are looking for an individual that is a self-starter, organized and detail oriented. This position requires the individual to work out solutions with help and guidance from their Supervisor in a high pressure environment. You will be required to communicate with all levels of employees from our Mechanics to the Program Manager.

Work hours vary based on the Mission. Days, nights, weekends and potentially holidays.

Travel is required at least 50% of the time.

REQUIREMENTS

* Pilot shall meet the qualification requirements of AR 95-20.

* The pilot must be qualified in mission, type, design, and if appropriate, series of aircraft.

* The pilot must have not less than 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command time, in addition, the Pilot-in-Command time must include 300 hours in aircraft type. Pilot hours will be verified by DA Form 759 or commercial flight logbook.

* Pilots shall have successfully completed Army Maintenance Test Pilots Course (MTPC) or complete an equivalency evaluation IAW AR 95-1 and 95-20.

* All Pilots shall undergo and successfully complete initially and annually thereafter, a flight physical IAW Army Regulation (AR) 95-20 and service guidance contained in AR 40-501.

* Maintenance test pilots shall be proficient in flying operations of the aircraft they are assigned.

* Annual renewals of Medical Certificates shall be the responsibility of the individual. Maintenance test pilots shall possess an instrument rating on their FAA Commercial Certificates; no waivers will be granted.

* Instrument and night flight are not required by AR 95-20.

* Pilots shall undergo an annual flight evaluation conducted IAW AR 95-1, Para 4-7 and the appropriate Aircrew Training Manual (ATM). An Army/Government Test Flight Evaluator (MTFE) will conduct this evaluation. These evaluations must meet the requirements of

AR 95-1. Currency shall be in accordance with AR 95-1.

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

* Other duties as assigned.

* Pilot shall be required to perform additional duties, at the direction of the Site Supervisor and in coordination with the COR, when not performing actual flight. These duties may include the following:

o Aircraft Technical Inspection.

o Aviation Safety Official duties and shall have previously attended the Aviation Safety Officer Course (ASOC).

o Ferry flights as approved by the GFR and KO.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

* High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.

* Current Army or FAA Class 2 Flight Medical Certificate

* Valid FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Pilots License with Instrument Rating

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The candidate must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and work above their head as required. Must be able to travel up and down stairs and work with their hands. Must be able to work in heat and cold. Must be able to enter and exit the aircraft without assistance. Able to perform all required physical demands of the position.
