ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Makes outbound calls to prospective students
  • Takes inbound calls from prospective students
  • Must keep a positive and influential attitude with all students, colleagues, and university departments
  • Minimally performs when consistently handling 20 phone calls per hour
  • Verifies prospective students' contact information on CRM (SalesForce)
  • Schedules appointments with and facilitates "live transfer" to Enrollment Counselors
  • Thoroughly understands WGU products, policies, and procedures
  • Provides accurate information and quality high customer service at all times
  • Receives and routes inbound calls to appropriate WGU personnel
  • Remain compliant with standards, guidelines, and policies as set forth by WGU and the U.S. Department of Education

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
  • Clear background check
  • Aptitude to quickly learn new technologies such as Microsoft Office, SalesForce, email clients, telephony systems, etc.
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Receptive to feedback and coaching
  • Preferred experience: Customer service representative, sales, retail,
  • Related skills: internet, software, telephone, and computing skills
