We are seeking a high potential individual preferably with some exposure to commercial real estate lending to manage the loan pipeline: this involves tracking the inquiries by putting them into our loan origination system, screen them for source of the deal (Financial Advisor), property type, location, and applicability to our loan parameters in order to have them assigned to a loan originator for review. This position will collaborate with the senior loan management team and the loan origination staff of the Middle Market team to manage the assignment and prompt processing of loan inquiries. The Manager will work closely with the Private Bankers and Financial Advisors (the sources of the deals) to advise them as to the status of any loan inquiry. He or she will be expected to develop the skills to understand the subject matter sufficiently to keep others in the specific transaction as well as Sales, Risk, Legal and other key constituents advises as to the status of any deal or of the overall deal flow in the Department. This Manager will also be responsible for generating Letters of Intent and other form documents as well as regular reporting as to deal flow, status and results to ensure that Middle Market CRE Lending is supporting the Firm's goal of providing quality private banking solutions to its HNW clients.

The Pipeline Manager will provide broad support generally to the Middle Market CRE Lending team with an emphasis on deal flow, proper reporting and status of all transactions. This individual will be critical in ensuring the deal flow is managed promptly with an emphasis of communication to individuals involved in all transactions always being current on deal status.

Responsibilities:

* Receive and review all incoming loan inquiries

* Input all deals into loan pipeline management system.

* Work closely with Loan Originators to determine if the loan request is of interest to the Bank. Must have ability to communicate approval, denial or modification promptly and professionally if the Originator is otherwise unable.

* Assist in managing loan originators outside the NY region and advising them as to deal status and process.

* Help manage the pipeline to identify and advance large, stalled transactions.

* Be responsible for generating Letters of Intent for signature for deals the Bank is interested pursuing.

* Manage the documentation and track recommendations to Credit Risk Management to initiate loan underwriting.

* Understand the Firm's credit policy and philosophy to flag deals within our parameters and those clearly outside our framework.

* Gain confidence of the Bank management as the source of all date relating to pipeline management.

* Assist in developing training material to provide product awareness and understanding among Financial Advisors, Field Management and Private Bankers regarding the relevancy and application of specific products within HNW Lending.

* Additional responsibilities as required by Senior Lending Advisors and Head of Lending.

Experience:

* Minimum 3 years of loan administration or similar (administrative assistant in production department, for example); preferably, but not necessarily in the commercial real estate lending field.

* Dealing with third parties intermediaries (Financial Advisors, Private Bankers, brokers, etc.) experience desired.

* Skilled in dealing in high paced environment and managing multiple transactions simultaneously

* Very strong software / technology skills.

* BA or BS preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

* Ability to deal with a large number of demanding individuals in the field.

* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.

* Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of Baker Hill and/or Mysis a plus. Data base experience helpful.

* Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and manage expectations.

* Good collaboration skills in a team oriented environment.

* Detail orientation with strong organizational and analytical skills
