About this job

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Handle daily load tracing (inbound and outbound) for assigned territory

* Set appointments (origin and destination) for assigned territory

* Respond and provide prompt answers to customer questions

* Accurately communicate and manage daily equipment and pool management to improve efficiency

* Daily monitoring and updating of drayage events

* Meet/beat assigned metrics and goals

* Communicate effectively with vendors to create and maintain strong professional relationships, assisting them in all operational aspects

* Approve or deny any accessorial charges to vendors

* Complete or assist with miscellaneous projects as assigned

* Must be a full-time student in a relevant undergraduate degree program; including: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related concentration

* Minimum of a 3.0 GPA preferred

* Must have housing secured prior to the start of the program

* Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interface with customers and internal personnel

* Strong organization, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills are required

* Must be eligible for employment in the U.S. without citizenry sponsorship

* Must work full-time, from June-December 2017, to be eligible
