The Center for Spine Health in the Neurological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full time, academic spine surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Academic rank will be determined by qualification and experience. The applicant must be board certified/board eligible orthopedic spine surgeon; fellowship training is required. Responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and research activities. Employment at the Cleveland Clinic offers a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.
The Center for Spine Health is a uniquely integrated department of 14 spine surgeons and 12 medical spine specialists, including 2 rheumatologists, 7 physiatrists (5 interventional), and one osteopathic physician specializing in manipulation The Center features fellowship programs in both spine surgery and spine medicine, the former of which is the largest in the United States In addition to a dynamic, collaborative clinical and surgical practice, the position requires the participation in resident and fellow teaching as well as basic, translational, biomechanical and/or clinical research. Clinicians in the Center for Spine Health work closely with other specialists in the Neurological Institute, particularly in the Center for Pain and the Center for Neuroimaging to provide evidence-informed, comprehensive world class spine care.
