Irrigation Tech - Part-time

We are a well-established Landscaping company in the Fremont Area. Our company been in business since 1972 and we're growing. We're looking for a full-time Irrigation Technician to add to our TEAM.

The purpose of the Irrigation Technician is to aid in the irrigation process of all company accounts and ensure client satisfaction.

Principal Duties:

* Repair & replace irrigation
* Efficient irrigation of job sites
* Alleviation of stressful landscape conditions
* Consult with & assist Specialist and/or Region Manager
* Train employees
* Practice safety precautions
* Maintain positive attitude & self-image
* Collaborate with other employees
* Troubleshoot timers & valves
* Design small irrigation systems
* Evaluate trouble areas & develop solutions/repair estimates
* Complete necessary documentation

Requirements: 

* Listening & observational skills
* Ability to receive and follow instructions
* Ability to work independently
* Lift heavy equipment (up to 150 lbs., on occasion, w/help)
* Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
* Knowledge of digital volt-ohm meter
* Knowledge of electric wire tracking system
* Back-flow & copper pipe welding skills
* Troubleshooting skills (timers, electric, etc.)
* Analytical skills
* Inter-personal skills
* Valid CA Driver's License
* Decision making skills
* Attention to Detail
* Prior irrigation experience
* Familiar with smart controllers

Recommended Criteria:

* Basic English/Spanish skills
* Certified Landscape Technician
