Line Cook – Victoria National Golf Club

                                                                                                   

Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, IN, is seeking an experienced full time Line Cook with a strong work ethic, love for food, desire to learn and growing in their culinary knowledge and has a “can-do” attitude to join our culinary team. The selected candidate will work with our passionate, dedicated Executive Chef who is a Certified Executive Chef with the American Culinary Federation and Pro Chef level III certified with the Culinary Institute of America.

 

The Line Cook reports to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef and will play an integral part in the culinary team. The Line Cook understands that flavor and consistency are critical in the member dining experience; therefore, the Line Cook is just as passionate about producing the best hamburger or crispy chicken fingers, as preparing more complex dishes. The focus of the Victoria National culinary team will be quality and consistency with exceptional service to our members and guests.

 

Successful candidates will be skilled in ala carte service and banquet production. A minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience as a Line Cook in private clubs preferred.

 

 

REQUIRED WORK HABITS:

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Work habits include regular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability, and promptness.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as these are the busiest times for the golf club.

 

Compensation includes a competitive wage *(Based on Experience), benefits package, uniforms and daily meals
