About this job
We have a part-time opening for a Shop Assistant.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
- No experience required.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
1.) To assist with stocking shelves and displaying and pricing goods in accordance with set standards and statutory requirements.
2.) To assist with the receiving, checking and storage of deliveries
3.) To assist in maintaining security of stock through rotation, code-checking and theft awareness.
4 ) To promote good quality customer care in accordance with prevailing Company policies.
5 ) To operate the till and accept payment in accordance with prevailing Company policies.
6 ) To make optimum use of working time by ensuring that cleanliness, presentation and general housekeeping is attended to during downtime.
7.) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
