We are seeking an energetic, responsible, and reliable intern to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of product in our professional kitchen.
We have a relaxed environment, great leadership, and need hard workers that are efficient and passionate. Our production needs are growing and we need help! There will be interviews for a head intern as well. The pay will be higher and they will have more responsibilities.
Potential for growth, and promotion into marketing and photography as well.
Responsibilities:
Help prep food and assist with the cooking process
Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
Commit to 5-10 hours per week
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques not required, but encouraged
Strong attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well in teams
Must have own transportation
16+ of age
Weekday and weeknight availability
