We are in search of FULL-TIME & PART-TIME Non-CDL Home Delivery Drivers to be based out of Jersey City, NJ

$17.00*/hr

*Rate reflects $13 base hourly rate + Average tip earnings

People who like people and look forward to bringing groceries that extra step - to the kitchen

People who will take on all kinds of weather to get the customers’ doors

Responsibilities:

• Serve the customer in an efficient, polite, professional and upbeat manner while making deliveries to their homes and businesses
• Ability to safely navigate a delivery truck within New Jersey and New York City (including all five boroughs)
• Manage a planned delivery schedule with minimal exceptions without interruption to customers
• Exhibit a high standard for performance, attendance and teamwork
• Ensure that food safety/sanitation and workplace safety practices are adhered to throughout the scope of the job
• Accurately record route information and organize paperwork (invoices, coupons, etc.)
• Ability to load and unload trucks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High School or eqiuvalent required
• Valid Driver’s License required (CDL is not required)
• Ability to pass DOT Screening and Post Offer Employment Screening a must
• Abilty to lift and carry containers up to 60 lbs. Walking, climbing stairs, entering buildings and elevators a must
• Safe Driving Record with a thorough understanding of all rules of the road a must
• Superior customer service a must
• Strong verbal communication skills a must
