Appliance Delivery and Install

This position exists to ensure effective movement of inventory between the dock, sales floor, customer pickup and delivery. The Appliance Delivery and Install Associate is responsible to assist in unloading trailers (Receiving) and delivering and installing product to customers homes. 

Job Duties: 

• Deliver and Install appliances to customers home in a professional manner
• Moves merchandise between dock, stockroom staging area, sales floor, customer pick-up or delivery, and removal of 'sold' merchandise from sales floor 
• Maintain inventory in warehouse 
• Responsible for the deluxing and assembling merchandise in store or in customers home
• Assembles and disassembles fixtures for seasonal flexes or floor plan changes 
• Maintain required documentation to log all deliveries to customers 
• Ensures customer service through timely, attentive and friendly service during all customer deliveries 
• Protects Company assets by following company policies and direction for customer pick-up and delivery procedures 
• Performs daily housekeeping, including cleaning and straightening, etc. 
• Miscellaneous duties as required, including as extra sales help as needed once cross trained 
• Maintains safe/clean receiving area 
• Assists customers by delivering items to their car, assisting them in loading and securing of merchandise 

Prior delivery and installation of appliances required.  Ability to use appliance moving equipment and operation of box truck lift.  Ability to install washer/dryers and installation kits, install refrigerators and water line, install electric range with power cord, deliver and assemble fitness equipment, deliver and assemble BBQ grills, deliver and setup other large appliances.  Must be able to lift and move heavy weights, bend, squat, and perform activities related to moving large appliances.  Valid standard drivers license and ability to drive 14' box truck.
