Retail Sales Associate/Appliance Sales - Full-time / Part-time

The Consultative Sales Associate is responsible for enhancing the experience of customers and increasing sales by providing sales assistance and support to the customer, achieving standards and goals, and performing sales-support activities to maintain a clean, in-stock, orderly and well-merchandised sales floor. Candidate must have day, evening, and weekend availability to work.

The Consultative Sales Associate will:

• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions using approved selling practices and guidelines
• Meet or exceed associate performance standards consistently
• Understand website navigation, and provide customer solutions when the product is not available in the store
• Maintain current knowledge of merchandise lines; product features, benefits and availability; Sears Hometown Advantages, such as the price match and price protection policies; and, delivery, installation and/or service options to respond to customer needs
• Optimize Protection Agreements, Sears Purchase Protect, Leasing, Online Ordering, delivery, installation and other miscellaneous income opportunities
• Process customer transactions in the Point of Sale system, including sales, returns and exchanges in accordance with authorized procedures
• Complete training, and participate in ongoing learning opportunities
• Partner with other selling and sales support associates and cashiers to provide superior customer service (i.e., locate merchandise, assist customers, answer phones and ring register)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Sears Hometown Stores is a much smaller Sears store, which is locally owned and operated.  We primarly sell all large appliances and brands, lawn equipment, tools, beds, and excercise equipment.  We are growing and not to be confused with the larger Sears Mall Stores.  As Sears pulls out of markets like Franklin, we are able to come in and open these smaller Hometown Stores.  This location has been opened for one year and has been growing tremidously during that time.  We need some great sales people to continue the growth.

We will start new assoicates with a competivtive hourly rate, dependant upon expierence, plus commission starting immediately.  Store hours are Monday thru Saturday 9:30 - 7:00 and Sunday 12:00 - 5:00.
