Housekeeping

We are a progressive hotel looking for individuals to join our housekeeping and laundry team. Must be enthusiastic, hardworking, able to pass a background check and ready to join an amazing team. Job Summary:Responsible for the cleanliness, arrangement and supply of guestrooms.To provide quality service during the guests stay by meeting and exceeding his/her expectations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Impress Guests.Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times.
2.Maintain a clean, pleasant and professional image to the guest and wear the proper uniform at all times.Keep work area neat and organized.
3.Clean guestrooms daily to include:
a.Make beds with fresh linens and replace towels in the bathroom
b.Remove trash and debris from rooms
c.Clean bathroom area including shower walls and bathroom floor
d.Dust all surfaces, replace amenities and collateral
e.Vacuum and spot clean carpets.
4.Deep clean rooms/specific tasks in guestrooms as assigned
5.Clean and Maintain cart and vacuum cleaner daily.
6.Remove soiled linen and trash from cart and restock with supplies.
7.Replace and/or empty vacuum cleaner bag as needed.
8.Document any maintenance needs found in guestrooms to maintenance Department
9.Turn in lost and found articles immediately.
10.Assist in maintaining other areas of the hotel in a clean and orderly condition (employee lounge, locker rooms, linen closet, laundry, public areas including bathrooms).
11.Follow all Express/Hilton/Choice/Marriott standards.
12.Communicate with other hotel departments regarding guest service requests or complaints.Keep immediate supervisor aware of any suspicious activity observed.
13.Provide assistance to other team members to contribute to the smooth operation of the department and the hotel.
14.Perform all duties as required and other tasks as assigned with an "Impress the Guest" attitude, while following good housekeeping habits and safe work practices.
