BUSY, fast paced podiatrist office looking for a reliable PART-time experienced medical assistant in back office duties. Must be good with patients and punctual, able to hustle and multi task...preferably located in Naples.
Applicant must possess the ability to:
-Room patients and obtain vitals, history and information necessary for physician to treat patient
-Prepare patient for procedures
-Assist in obtaining would cultures, dressing changes, nail procedures
-Stock treatment rooms daily or as necessary
-Cast orthotics, fit and dispense Diabetic Shoes/Inserts
-Experience in taking podiatry specific Xrays is a plus
-Knowledge and experience in dispensing DME including having patient sign the appropriate paperwork
-Insurance knowledge to know which lab to send cultures to
-Applicant must posses strong computer skills and medical charting skills
-Enter in past medical history, allergies, into EHR system
-Experience in Practice Fusion EHR a plus
*Must be a self starter and able to work in a team environment
