Qualifications

  • Ability to work holidays, weekends and when scheduled.
  • Ability and desire to withstand prolonged periods of standing, walking
  •  Position requires bending, reaching, twisting and lifting trays and linen (weighing up to 70 lbs.)

  • Must be self-motivated

 

Position Summary:      Set up dining room bars and table bars.  Maintains stock of all items in all bars.  Assists in breaking down all table bars.  Cleans all effected areas related to bar service.

Job Duties:

 

  • Performs job tasks such as:
  • Assist Bartender in set up, active operation, and break down of bars
  • Ice all Bars before and during shift
  • Stock all bars with beverage, supplies, and incidentals before, during, and after each shift
  • Remove all bar items such as pop and trash from room, nightly
  • Remove all empties from kitchen and bars, nightly
  • Maintain clean pop room:  Sort and maintain empties/returnables, mop floors, straighten room etc.
  • Actively monitor all bars for restock needs throughout shift
  • Maintain bag-in-box pop syrup system.  Stock and clean (coils) in all areas.
  • Maintain orderly glass room
  • Rotate stock in bar refrigeration
  • Stock red and white wine cuveness weekly or as needed
  • Any additional tasks as seen fit by supervisors, leader or management
  • section and surrounding area.  Your area includes all physical items that could be affected by service or guest use, for example:  floors, banisters, tray jacks, and heat registers.
  • During Large club events, ensures tables are promptly bussed and reset as soon as members leave.  Work closely with bussers, housemen, hosts/hostesses and manger to insure prompt turn.
  • Help fellow servers with their tables/duties as needed to insure tables are ready to meet guest expectations.
  • Leave work area only when side-work has been checked out by your supervisor
  • Any additional tasks as seen fit by supervisors or management
  • Carry trays
