About this job
Provides observation for patients requiring supervision for safety reasons. This includes patients on suicide precautions and patients with compromised judgement pertaining to safety, interference with therapeutic equipment, patients who need companion due to the state of confusion or agitation. Assists patients with general comfort needs, meals, re-positioning, as needed. Assists patients with bed- chair transfers and will also transport patients as needed.
HS diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in a patient care setting is preferred, but not required.
Current AHA Heart Saver CPR required.
