Main Job Responsibilities Include:
* Must be familiar with repairs to rotating equipment such as centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, screw and centrifugal compressors, blowers, gearboxes. Precision alignment experience preferred.
* Must also be familiar repairing and rebuilding pumps; machining parts as needed to complete the repair
* Be familiar with various welding techniques and be proficient in at least one.
* Trouble-shoot and analyze causes of equipment failures and recommend solutions to problems.
* Be able to read P&IDs and isometric piping drawings.
* Be familiar with basic rigging techniques.
* Experience operating mobile equipment such as man-lifts, forklifts, and small carry deck cranes
* Work with SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System as part of daily work function.
* Perform assigned plant housekeeping duties to comply with plant procedures and requirements.
* Keep and maintain job records as required by plant supervision and procedures.
* Be prepared to work 12-hour rotating shift after 6 months of employment.
* And all other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
* High school Diploma or equivalent
* 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Five or more years of journeyman-level experience in a petro-chemical plant or related industry performing maintenance or construction as a multi-craft mechanic
* Journeyman level experience in at least one of the following craft -- pipefitter, welder, or millwright; helper level experience in a second craft
* One-year certificate of additional training in welding, pipe-fitting, or millwright is required (Vocational, Apprenticeship programs, etc.). Certificate shall be from an approved source.
* Honeywell will conduct a 3rd party skills assessment prior to employment.
* Experience leading in a Lean manufacturing or 6-sigma environment to include familiarity with Kanban, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement or similar production tools within a manufacturing facility is preferred.
* Self-motivated and a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
* Problem solver on equipment with recurring failures
* Good interpersonal skills - works well with others
* Good team building skills
* High level of integrity
* Knowledge of SAP or similar software is a plus
