L-3 Aeromet is a Division of L-3 Intelligence Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Sector and main office is located in Tulsa, OK. Aeromet is established within the DoD Community as the developer and operator of special mission ISR systems. We provide special mission system design, modification, and operations with emphasis on the development and integration of state-of-the-art EO/IR sensor systems.

Avionics Technician systems Mechanic / Aircraft Systems Mechanic perform a wide variety of moderately complex flight line and airframe systems task

Subsystems maintenance to support a DOD Gulfstream operations and maintenance program, including, but not limited to:

Major and minor unscheduled maintenance utilizing computerized maintenance program, blueprints, drawings, engineering specifications, OEM maintenance manuals, and service bulletins.

* Avionics Repair and Troubleshooting

* Accomplish FAR 91411 & 91413 testing

* RVSM checks

* Cockpit flight deck systems Repair

* Electrical repair and troubleshooting of Hydraulic and mechanical Systems.

* Conduct system operational checks

* Comply with aircraft scheduled and unscheduled inspections

* Aircraft jacking

* Tows and positions aircraft

* Sets highest ethical standards for self and others.

* Other duties as assigned.

* Aircraft A&P license -AA Degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience or 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience.

* A plus if you have any of the following: Gulfstream schooling or equivalent product schooling, - FCC licenses or any

Avionics schooling or certificates, any training certificates that complement the aviation field.

* Must be knowledgeable of aircraft systems: flight controls, pneumatic, landing gear, fuel system.

* Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, OEM drawings and engineering specifications.

* Must be able to assemble close tolerance parts and use common hand tools.

* Must wear approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

* Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and available for overtime hours as required.

* Must be able to be certified to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts and aircraft tow vehicles.

* Must undergo a flight line physical.

* Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
