Looking for 2 Full-Time Professionals

CHILD DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE:

Child development associate is responsible for the smooth effective daily operation of the child care program. The child development associate is responsible for preparing and implementing daily programs and curriculums. Provide direct ongoing support to the children placed in your care. The child development associate must represent the agency by developing a positive working relationship with program participants, parents, and local community groups, and agency supporters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 years of age and hold a valid Kentucky drivers licenses. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Trained in early childhood practices at least 3 years experience in professional child care practices. First Aid and CPR training is to be maintained yearly.

DUTIES:

Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment. 15 hours of in-service training is required per year to remain in compliance with KY license yearly. Ability to read, write, and understand written directions. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and orally also in writing to supervisors and other employees. Must be patient and sensitive to the needs of parents and children. Must be willing to learn and be knowledgeable of licensing and regulations policies and procedures. Must be able to document and respond to all incidents and notify proper authorities. Must maintain essential records, such as attendance sheets, medication logs, and incident report forms. Must be able to follow daily schedule and assigned curriculum.
